We're Proud to Be an Official Sailor's Headquarters
This July, New York Harbor becomes the center of the world.
White Oak Tavern is proud to be an Official Sailor's Headquarters for Sail4th 250, the world's largest gathering of tall ships and one of the signature events celebrating America's 250th birthday.
From July 3 through July 8, more than 60 tall ships from over 30 nations will sail into New York Harbor alongside 10,000 uniformed sailors for a once-in-a-generation celebration of history, culture, and international friendship.
Millions of visitors are expected along the New York and New Jersey waterfront, making this one of the biggest events the city has seen in decades.
And we're celebrating right alongside them.
Sailors and service members with valid military ID can enjoy $5 food and drink specials, including Narragansett Lager, Planter's Punch, BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders, Fried Green Tomato Sliders, Chili Cheese Fries, Pigs in a Blanket, and an All American Hot Dog, with the first one free.
Not a sailor? No problem.
The public is invited too, and White Oak Tavern is the perfect place to stop before or after exploring the festivities downtown.
